IANLP Assessment Guidelines
On-Site vs. Online Training: If you are not sure which form of training is best for you, you might give this questionnaire a try.
Duration of Training
A minimum of 50 hours of curricular live training is required. This curricular training must consist of a minimum of 6 days with a total of 50 hours of live training (100% attendance is required). Breaks exceeding 30 minutes that are taken in the course of the daily training can not be counted towards the fulfillment of the 50 training hours requirement.
The entire curricular training (50 hours) must focus on the minimum contents defined in curriculum NLP Practitioner IANLP.
Training Modality
All training time provided by this curricula must be either on-site training or synchronous online training, or a mix of both (blended learning).

The regulations set forth in the curriculum NLP Practitioner IANLP apply.

Required abilities of Diploma IANLP and criteria for certification
The assessement criteria for Diploma IANLP include
- Knowledge and behavioral integration of the main presuppositions of NLP
- Basic abilities in regards to: Establishing rapport and maintaining it; Pacing and Leading (verbal and non-verbal); Outcome orientation with respect for others models of the world and the ecology of the system; Calibration (sensory experience); Representational systems (predicates and accessing cues); Demonstration of behavioral flexibility; Resource-orientation and ecology of interventions.
Minimum training contents
The entire curricular training (50 hours) must focus on the minimum contents defined in curriculum NLP Practitioner IANLP.
Assessment for Diploma IANLP
The assessment of the competencies is to be designed by the Fellow Member Trainer and is expected to match his/her training emphasis. A written record must be prepared of the competencies assessed. The record must be retained for at least three years following the assessment. For reasons of quality assurance the IANLP or individuals appointed by the IANLP have the right to request submission of this documentation.
Contents of Diploma IANLP certificate
Diploma certificates must include the following 8 items:
(1) A statement describing the duration of the training in days and hours in which the student has fully (100%) participated and a distinct reference to the particular training modality; [*])
(2) A statement that this training was held according to IANLP standards;
(3) Either an orginal sticker seal of the IANLP and/or a digital seal of the IANLP. At least one seal must be shown on certificate;
(4) Date of the first and last day of training;
(5) Date of issuance of the certificate;
(6) Name and signature of fellow member trainer IANLP;
(7) Unique IANLP Certification Number obtained from the headquarters of the IANLP;
(8) Optional: The “Graduate Logo” provided by the IANLP can be printed onto the certificate.
(9) Title
(9a) 'Diploma IANLP' or 'Diploma (on-site) IANLP', if 100% of curricular training has been attended in on-site training modality.
(9b) 'Diploma (blended) IANLP', if curricular training has been attended in a mix of on-site and online training modality.
(9c) 'Diploma (online) IANLP', if 100% of curricular training has been attended in online training modality.
[*]) Examples for statement of duration:
(9a)The total learning time of [60]* hours included 8 days with a total of 60 hours of on-site in-the-room classroom training.
(9b)The total learning time of [50]* hours included 3 days/30 hours of synchronous online training and 3 days/20 hours of on-site classroom training.
(9c) The total learning time of [80]* hours included 6 days/60 hours of synchronous online training and 20 hours of asynchronous learning time (homestudy).
[ ]* Total learning time varies from institute to institute, as each has different requirements for out-of-school learning time. The minimum is 50 hours.
