Principles

History of IANLP and NLP

IANLP is one of the first and biggest NLP-standard organizations worldwide. IANLP was founded in 1983 and soon became the world's biggest network for NLP-teaching trainers with up to 1300 members in it's peak time in 1993/92. Due to various reasons, the United States office of IANLP closed down in 1996/97. In 1999 a group of Fellow Member Trainers IANLP from Europe resurrected IANLP and it is presently regathering all the Fellow Member Trainers around the world. Read more...

Repeatedly, the relationship between NLP training and psychotherapy has been subject to deliberations and discussions in the NLP community at large and the IANLP has frequently been asked questions relating to this issue, as the variety of organizations involved, with differing training standards and certifications are often confusing for those interested in obtaining nlp psychotherapy training.
