Show all FAQsCurricula: Training Hours and Days - How Are They Counted?
Q: How do we count the days and hours of our training to comply with IANLP standards?
A: IANLP counts full hours (60 minutes) and each day of in-school presence.
Let us make an example:
Let's say a practitioner training runs a total of 10 Weekends. 9 weekends are saturday/sunday (= 9 x 2 days) and one weekend is friday (starting 16.30) until sunday (end 12.00) (= 1 x 3 days).
This counts for 21 days.
The hours are on the 9 weekends: 8.30 - 10.00, 10.30 - 12.00 / 13.30 - 15.30, 16.00 - 18.00
This counts for 16 hours because only breaks longer then 30 minutes are not to be counted as school time.
On the weekend Fr/Sa/Su the hours are: Fr 16.30 - 18.00, 20.00 - 21.30 (= 3 hrs), Sa 8.30 - 10.00, 10.30 - 12.00 / 14.00 - 15.15, 15.45 - 18.00 / 20.00 - 21.30 (= 9.5 hrs), Su 8.30 - 10.00, 10.30 - 12.00 (= 4 hrs.) Total 16.5 hrs.
Therefore the total curricular in-school duration of this training is 21 days / 160.5 hrs
