Show all FAQsCertification: Offering Multiple Certifications within the same Training
Competence or skills orientation is a key concept in state-of-the-art adult continuing education. Acquired competencies are being certified regardless of how they were acquired.
Hence, it is professional practice to certify different competencies that have been acquired within the same training period. This poses two different kinds of challenges
(1) A problem could arise if such certificates are being issued in a way, that an external party is unable to discern that all the certificates actually refer to the identical training period (days, hours). Without clarifying the issue this would be in violation of our Code of Ethical Conduct.
(2) The entire curricular training time for the NLP curriculum (18 days and 130 hours) must focus on the minimum contents defined in the respective curriculum. If a Fellow Member Trainer teaches additional content within the framework of the curriculum, the total training time must be extended accordingly. Spending time teaching and/or certifying additional skills within the context of this training at the expense of the core curriculum is considered a violation of the training standards.
To support our Fellow Member Trainers when issuing multiple certificates we have set up some guidelines.
