Bulletin 2025.6 - Curricular Supervision

New requirement: Curricular Supervision

New requirement: To be recognised as a 'Fellow Member Trainer of the IANLP', applicants must attend "at least five hours of curricular supervision with a qualified supervisor".

We introduced the process of 'Curricular Supervision' because we noticed that new NLP trainers tend to use the implementation plans, training designs, methodology and didactic principles of their senior trainers as guidelines for their future work.

In curricular supervision, incoming FMTs learn about the differences between their training experience and the updated guidelines. They also learn how to integrate these new elements into their training design to maximise marketing benefits.

This has proven to be quite successful.

Read curricula of the IANLP.
